During the year, you have spent a vast amount of hours by sitting on classes and listening different professors and lecturers. In your opinion, who put most effort to spend your precious time usufully? Who tried to do something make your learning easier? Who was able to teach you new things? Let us know!
As a part of our continuous efforts to make BT courses top quality, Piste in cooperation with the Department of Business Technology introduces Business Technology Teacher Of The Year award. The best BT teacher during the year 2009 is selected based on students’ votes, so your opinion matters!
By the way, as far as we know, this is first time when best teacher is awarded on department level, so once again Piste is doing something totally new!
You can use your subjective criteria to select the best teacher of the year 2009 (spring and fall terms). To help your selection, we suggest that the teacher would have at least some of the following qualities:
* Devotes to the quality of teaching (e.g. presentation skills, slides, notes, exercises)
* Listens and responds to students’ feedback
* Emphasizes interaction with students
* Reacts fast to all inquiries
* Helps with exercises
* Delivers exercise and exam results in time
* Etc.
Casting your vote happens online and takes only couple of seconds. You should have received an e-mail message (or actually two, by accident) containing link to online voting system (if not, please contact us!). All you have to do is select the name of your preferred teacher (course names are included for your convenience), and hit Submit button. Not too hard, huh?
The voting is open just now and ends on 23.11. midnight. The voting happens anonymously and every student has one vote.
As thanks for your time, a special prize is drawn among all who have voted. We contact the winner personally later.
The results of the voting are announced on 25.11., 15:00 onwards in Chydenia Building, 5th floor. At same event the department offers students a warm cup of traditional glögi and staff members are also present for having a nice break from work together with students.

Linkki puuttuu.
The link to online voting system is missing for purpose. We do not want to publish it to whole Internet. If you are a BT student, you should have received the link by e-mail.
